I'm looking for one or two fuel pump hangers from a Shelby Charger w/turbo. I haven't been able to find any new (Rock Auto shipped either a carb version, or non-l body one from their '86 SC listing) Anyone have a hanger and level sender assembly they can part with?

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
I have bought several new 88-90 L-body hanger assemblies. This is same assembly as single in tank pump except that pump is TBI pressure and volume and not turbo. So I just discard TBI pump and install Walbro 255 or Deatschwerks dw200 or next larger pump. Pretty sure they are available thru your local auto parts store too. Think brand is Airtex.

This is the one listed everywhere I've checked:

And this is the one I'm looking for with a much longer reach:

I guess I didn't actually put the top one into a tank yet, are you saying it works in the turbo tank? I don't think the geometry gets the pump pick-up to the bottom of the tank... Unfortunately I screwed up the bulkhead on mine and need to move the pump to a new hanger that doesn't leak.

Ah, perfect. Thanks!

Why would a used one be worth $129? Are these really that rare?

The one I have on ebay is the only good one I've found in the last 6-7 years. L-bodies are hard to find in the JY anymore, and the hangers are horrible, most of them are rusty as hell. Hence, why I have it listed for $129. When you get the airtex in, post up pictures, if I works out, that would be great because I get several calls a year asking where someone can find one!

Here is a couple pics of the ones I've bought for L-body replacement. Mine does look different than the one in your first pic. Mine fit into stock turbo baffled tank just like OEM. It is almost identical to single pump design from Mopar. Note mods that are needed to fit larger pump into hanger assy. The nylon tie strap mod don't make the grade for me. Instead of using tie straps, I just extend plastic arms a little.
