Buyer beware the late Turbonetics .63 housings could be cut for F1-49 turbines and not Garrett stage 1.

Yes. I remember a thread that someone put a newer turbine in an older housing. It didn't hit, but in had excessive clearance. Not sure what the reverse of this would be like. I checked this for myself. Here are the pics.
