What a great read into the insight of Mosler himself:thumb: Sounds like a fun guy to have dinner with:nod: I remember the TwinStar but didnt know that it was his creation, funny thing is, Im sure I read about it in Car And Driver the magazine that sank the Consulier

Thought it was AutoWeek article that was the bad one. Anyone have that article? (where ever it came from)

A Ruf porsche couldn't post a faster lap than his gtp. Nice. You gotta spot him the remote shocks and boost control running against something like that.. Just for bragging rights I'm curious if it was a SCR, BTR, CTR or what model.

I've wanted to meet Warren ever since I learned about his cars. I even was going to contact him to try and get an internship at Mosler while I was in college. Stupidly I never did. :( I still would love to own a Consulier. Maybe one day. I also like the MT900 Photon, even though it's Chevy powered. I find it a total shame that most every published competition I ever saw that car in here in the US it had some sort of mechanical issue (clutch is the one I remember the most).

I think it would be cool to build a car like the Consulier with a strong turbo 4-banger, but in a mid engine longitudinal position with a nice 6-speed tranny. The only reason for that would be that finding a transverse tranny that is strong enough to hold stupid amounts of power is pretty hard. Yeah, I realize that with the low weight of a car like that big power is not needed, but it sure would be fun if you ever wanted to use "all of it"! :thumb:
