Hi All,

So I've had this Daytona for a few weeks and more or less its been fine in the limited driving I've done with it. Eventually I will get stuck in traffic with it though and realized I've never noticed the electric fan coming on.
I've read that disconnecting the wire to a coolant snesor should make it come on, and tried that with no luck. Perhaps I pulled the wrong wire or maybe this doesn't apply to the oddball 84 model.
Any ideas on how to trigger it to make sure its working? How far should the temp gauge move before it kicks on? I just want the peace of mind

84 had a coolant switch in the radiator to switch the fan .

Thanks I'll check there and see what happens if I jump the connector.

Okay jumped the connector and the fan comes on, I'll just have to see what happens if it sits idling long enough on a hot day.
