Does anyone know why the ARP stud kits (241-4701 & 241-4501) are for non-turbo only?
Doesn't make sense to me...unless they just don't want to warranty them on turbo engines????
Thanks,
Mark

Warranty on anything HP? Good luck with that (lol)! Talkin to sales staff at ARP is like talkin to brick wall. Kammy sales mgr. is good though. They will work fine in your turbo car.

TU I believe sells these, not sure what brand. Check FWDP as well for pricing a comparison.

They are the same, just some manufacterers don't know any different.

You want the main studs from FWD or maybe T.U. if running a common block as they are the correct length.

Thanks

I spoke with them years ago about why their 2.2/2.5 headbolts were too long for turbo applications. They stated that they only researched the non turbo bolt length. I tried explaining to them that both applications were the same length but they didn't want to listen even though multiple people were calling in complaining. I guess at some point they changed it because they are now the correct length. We have these in stock for $75.00.
