I am keeping my eyes open for a project Rampage for my next Grassroots Motorsports Challenge Project. My main criteria are is the body condition...the cleaner the body, the better. I am not afraid of some rust or body repairs, but it can't be a rotted out basket case. Also, since I have a total build cap of $2014 for the event, price is a major consideration.

We have represented SDAC and the turbo mopar community for years at this event, with multiple podium finishes and taking the overall win the last two years. Any help, leads, etc. that I can get to make it a 3 peat would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Pat

Thanks. I went and looked at that one on Sunday. There is a fair amount of rust repair necessary to make it workable for what I'm doing with it. Frame rails, floors, quarters, fenders, etc.

I've been passing one on the way to work for a while, says $550 on the windshield. It's in Southern IL, near I-57 and IL-161. I could get the phone number from the windshield and do some checking on it, if you want.

Yes you have represented this community well. Thank you for keeping us in the spotlight.

Let's find this man a Rampage at a super low price so he can build a monster winning winner.

My 2 cents - it's definitely worth a little more $$$ and time to get one with a rust-free unibody. Everything else just bolts on, but if the main tub is rusted, it will take a lot of work to make it structurally sound.

For the price it was listed for, it's probably still available and might be able to talk them down coming from someone who knows what it is. It's Central Califronia car so should be rust free.

Agree. That's why I am still looking. But, since it will be a grm challenge car, I have a limit to what I am allowed to spend.

If you are driving by, ease do check it out. Thanks!

Too pricey. Even if I get it at $2k, I would have no build budget left.

I have no connection to it, but there's one for sale on the TD site. Not sure if I'm allowed to post a link from here, but the trucklet seems to still be available, as of a few days ago.

I think he wanted $1500 for it.

Yeah it does look clean, congrats on finding a nice one! Your kid looks very excited to be hunting for cars with Dad, that's so awesome

It's gonna be enjoyable to watch you put this car together if it's anything like your past projects...eager for more pics when you get at chance LOL

Thanks..it's very clean. Frame rails, quarters, doors, fenders are all very clean. Floor is near perfect and only needs a very minor repair on either side, which will get done.

I have big plans for this car. I'll start a project log eventually but I'm still mapping out exactly how this is going to take shape.

And yes, Sean (my 9 year old) and I had a great time taking a little road trip to check out the car, negotiate a deal and drag it home. It was a blast. He's already talking about when we can "make sparks" with the cut off wheel and do some welding. Kid's got potential! :-)

Nice, I've always really liked the original stripes the trucklets recieved with the "Rampage 2.2" added into it.

Your picture brought a smile to my wife and kids faces when they saw it. I've been fortunate to have had great road trips with them too, so they knew how much fun you guys enjoyed. Thanks again for sharing.

Not ready to spill the beans on my plans for it yet, but I will say it will not be rear engined.
