Lynn can you give some more details as to what the cutouts around the edges and the 3 pieces of metal are on the back are for? Curious as my Fidanza's don't have those features or really look the same overall.

They appear to be cutouts for the TIII crank sensor to read. I have a TU aluminum flywheel with those and it has a nickel coating on the outer perimeter so they can be 'seen' by the sensor. I don't think the one I have is Fidanza though.

the three metal tabs on the back seem to be retainers for the ring gear. Some people here had issues with the ring gear spinning on the aluminium flywheel due to different expansion rates. Looks as though fidanza fixed that problem by adding those tabs. The notches do look to be for the TIII crank sensor.

Sorry Maddmannda I usually only check private messages. Any way these are best for street or road race cars IE quicker rev between gears . Drag racers use mostly all steel heavy fly wheel for launch. Well most here use autos however, but the brave drag racers use 5 spds heavy flywheel.
