I am making up my own valley cover for my Daytona and have a few questions:
Are the valley cover's flat on the bottom? (The surface that comes in contact with the valve covers)
What is the angle of the top of the valley cover? (There is some angle to match both VC)
What are the dimensions of the cover itself? (How large is the opening)
What are the dimensions of the hole spacing?

I have my R/T all put away for the winter and it is a little hard to get dimensions right now.

Here is my concept so far, all of the dimensions need to be changed and slotted holes need to be added.

Any interest having some of these made? I could get a quote.
I have the solid model/ parasolid.

Sorry, I don't have the dimensions you're looking for. It sure looks cool though!

Borrowed my buddies valley cover, it happens to be an aftermarket aluminum one so I used the critical dimensions and this is what I came up with.

I like it, I had one made very similar to that for my iroc r/t. Make sure the 4 holes are not centered, I think they are shifted a half inch or so, I had to machine mine into slots after the fact.

I'll try and find or post pics of mine for you over the holliday weekend.

I had a valley cover to replicate my dimensions off of and they are not centered, they are offset like the original one was done. I have all my dimensions, I just need to take my print down to the shop, find out our smallest end mill and make some adjustments. Then just need to cut it out.

Simplified the design and here is the first test fit. Needs some paint and polish still.

Looks pretty similar to the ones fwdp offers. I guess making your own is probably more satisfying. :thumb:

Whats the blue thing on your firewall? Catch can?

It is very similar to the FWD Cover, but I made some changes, I still have the solid model files for the branded Valley cover, but I could not get work to make it for me.
The blue thing on my fire wall is my catch can, but that is moving due to the amount of heat right there. I am moving it up to in front of the battery on the core support.

Got it all sanded and painted, needs a little touch up but it looks good.
