Could a TII compressor housing be swap into a TI turbo. And if so could the TI wastegate be adapted into the TII housing. Thanks, Guido.

Thanks alot, I figure this is the easiest way to go. I'm intercooling my shelby charger, I'm down to the turbo mod. I'm not to sure about building an inlet nipple on the TI turbo, so the housing swap sounds cool to me.

I took an 89 TII Garrett and swapped the compressor housing and the WG can directly to an 86 TI Garrett on my GLHT. No holes to be drilled cause afterall the WG can mounts directly to the compressor housing that you are also swapping over.

Note: make sure when you do this you put a new compressor housing gasket on. they are available cheap (like $1 from TU)
