View Full Version : Are Felpro Headbolts TTY?

If they are not torque to yield bolts I will re-torque them. If they are I will leave them alone.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me. 11mm ES72723

I found this

Yes, they are torque to yield, just like the stock bolts. Per the FSM, they should reach at least 90lb.ft. on the final 1/4 turn. If not, they need to be replaced.

Many have reused them with no problems, as long as they reach 90 ft/lbs.

I have retorqued to 90 after a few months of driving with no problem. If it's their first use, no worries.
