How much oily solvent hazmat do you generate each time its cleaned ? Probably enough to offset any enviromental gain of a reusable filter I would think.

Yeah true. But you could see what is in it and forecast if something is going bad.

Scotts has been selling a similar product for a long time, looked at one for my CBR1000RR, $140, so $60 less. The real question is cost-benefit, whether they actually are better than paper and if so, worth the extra cost.
