Wow they had a Fiero night.
Something tells me we wouldn't be shunned there.
Did you go? How was it? There was one in Woodridge tonight also.

Yes i went last night with my girlfriend, got off work at 5, went home, got car and drove over there. Traffic was light and i showed up at 7:05. The parking lot was pretty packed so i parked off to the side and went to scope out a spot to park near the other cars, i find a few spaces and go back to the car to park with the others. Being a cool night out i had the window down and as i pulled through the lot i heard voices, more then a few saying things like "Woah is that a GLHS? Havent seen one of those in forever!", "Dude check that out" and "I had one of those cars, beat so many mustangs and camero's back in the day." Im not even parked yet and hearing this i had a grin from ear to ear.

I backed in next to a Red 94' Mustang that had seen some Track time as was evident by the 10+ tech-inspection stickers he had on his driver side front window (he was also part of a Shelby Club, but i couldnt fully read what the sticker on the window said). We walk around to check out the other cars and i would say 7-8 people were around my car looking at it, pointing fingers under the hood, moving around to get a better look at things. I spoke with 2 older guys for a bit, they were amazed at how clean the car was for its age, one said the interior looked as if it had never been sat in.

Truck night was the feature'd night and there were about 6 or 7 trucks that showed up from the 40's-70's, a nice mix over all. A 78' i believe Chevy Cheynne won first place, was orange and white with a very clean body and a woodgrain bed. (dont have much info on these) Second place was a black 40's Ford with a 3" chop top, and 3rd place was a black '61 Ford. Both modified show trucks.
Other cars on hand were Blue 70' Mustang with a killer sounding engine (big cams for sure), '96 Corvette Grand Sport, late '70's Firebird, early 70's Camero, early 70's Cadillac that clearly was a daily driver but overall good condition, a new Black Challenger, and a new Corvette.

Bump - This is tomorrow if anyone planned on going. Again, its a Mopar Feature night so bring 'em if you can. McHenry is about 50-55 min's north of the O'Hare Airport to put it in perspective distance wise.
