Hi all. I have a broken nylon reverse lockout strap. Also the pull up handle (whatever you would call it) is bad too. Can anyone tell me if any other year Daytonas, Lebarons or Shadows would have the same "sized" strap? I had this problem on an '89 almost 20 years ago. I remember at that time, there was a difference in lengths of the strap between years. (because of the different sized shifters.) I was able to rig that one and make it work for the rest of the car's life. I did the same with this one a few months ago, but the part you pull up on came unglued and now I have to be careful where I park. LOL Any help would be appreciated.

89 is unique.
88/87 is interchangeable.

I have the part numbers at home.

Thanks, I kind of thought '89 was by itself. I have the number and am in the process of ordering it. (rather a couple) Won't be the last one to break. LOL Thanks for the reply!

I used a very small gauge steel cable with a crimper guy to fix mine. It's been great so far and only cost me about $3.
