is that the new Borgson style steering box? ... well, it's not "new" per say becuase they've been using it on jeeps for over 10 years .......

Looked like my stock one, just re-done right. Wow, drove it yesterday for about 25 miles. SO much better than this truck has been since I bought it at 143k. It has has 230k on it now.

I find myself drawn to the Borgeson box, which is a new Delphi box modified for the Rams.

If better its the way to go. I didn't know anything about it.

Redhead isn't bad for sure, but it seems like Borgeson starts with a new box, rather than remanning

it's not important. the advantage to the borgeson is it's more compact design for headers and lower mass(weight). it does require some custom couplers on some applications as well . besides, it already is a good design to begin with, unlike some of the bulkier muscle car steering boxes

This one is no where near the engine.

Mine leaked some as well 96, insead I bought the DSS setup and havent had an issues since. With all that weight on the front tires the gear box takes a beating, I could see it wobble as it was turned left or right, the DSS fixed it.
