Description: I bought this a few years back with the intent to use it. However the long block I purchased on this website has a valve cover on it. I apologize for the other the pictures not having my user ID and date. It's the photos from when I purchased it. Not a single scratch added, and 100% accurate in all photos. PM or just reply to this post with questions. Thanks.

A photo showing the items you have for sale/trade needs to have a piece of paper with your username and date included in the photo.

The above details are not optional. This is to protect buyers... just put yourself in their shoes.4652946530465314653246533

truth be told, I really do not remember. To the best of my knowledge it came off an 87'. If there is a way to know, please inform me and I will check.

I want to say I vaguely remember it being 87'. I lined up perfectly for my 89' Daytona, but just didn't use it.

The 89' is the only one which uses the one piece gasket. The other two are identical to my knowledge.

Yeah I paid $200 for it, and just trying to recover the money. It's in great shape, if it sells cool. If not, well life goes on!

It can be picked up if the buyer is near Lebanon, PA 17042

I will knock off ten bucks if picked up.

if you flip it over and look at the seal grooves near the corners you can tell. The 89 groove will be the same or very close to the same depth all the way around. Where the 87/88 will become much shallower along the front and back because like Cordes said they don't use the 1 piece gasket.

Your price is fair, just trying to be a little more specific on what you're getting. The 89's seem to get a little bit of a premium over the 87/88's.

Okay, I'm currently deployed and my father is away for the weekend, I will have him check for me. I will post the finding on Sunday or Monday. Thanks for the info.

Okay, I added three pictures of the underside. Anyone tell me if it's a one piece or a two?

Pretty hard to tell. The pic is dark and there's RTV gooped in it.

Well it's looking like an 89 valve cover by the oil connection. I don't seem to be getting any bites, so I will wait until deployment is over and clean off that RTV off it. I will take photos that are sized in mb, not kb for more clarity.

the BAP.com page is a bit misleading as any Turbo2 VC will have that straight PCV connection.

Yeah I noticed that as well, like I said when I return home I will clean off all RTV junk and take megabyte size photos.

Part number says it's a 87-8 valve cover.
