Radiator Caps

Does anybody know what brand / style of radiator cap was OEM for our cars? Specifically a Shelby Lancer, if it makes a difference.

Original p/n 3781830 superceeded to > 52079880AA < Still very active and probably a stocked item as most dealerships.

(knocking on wood here) The shadow still has its original OEM cap (same p/n as above) and it is definitely a stant type cap.

Great information, thank you for the quick reply. The one pictured looks like the one on my GLHS. The one on my Lancer is an aftermarket one and has failed.

the newer style mopar caps have four "nubs" on the periphery, the ones for the older mopars including all the old turbo mopars, have just two nubs.

iv had several "motorad" caps fail to hold pressure and eventually leak on several differnt cars, stay away!
