I'm not sure what people say helps the exhaust manifold seal up to turbo. I think I remember someone saying about using axle grease but I'm not sure, I could be totally wrong with that idea. In the past I have used that copper gasket spray but I think that is pretty useless. Also I have a set of MP Head bolts lying around and I was wondering if you use the same torque as the stock bolts?

you can just put the turbo to exhaust manifold on dry but if its helps you sleep at night put some axle grease or wheel bearing grease whatever and when it heats up it will congeal and seal

Yes on grease and yes on torque spec.

LIGHTLY put some grease on. . And it is not needed, but as said... if you want.

Yes on grease and yes on torque spec.

Do you have the torque spec handy???

MP head bolts 45-65-65 then 1/4 turn. After completed in the proper sequence, set the tq wrench to 95 and test them all.

BTW... copper spray works VERY well when things are done right.... Proven on a 500+ft lb torque engine.

Again, what everyone else said. Works fine with and without the axle grease. Worked great both ways for me. It just helps me cuddle with my pillows better at night.

No need for even the grease. Even if it does have a small leak, it will eventually carbon up and seal itself within 1000 miles or so.
