so, when i got my csx the passenger side front k frame mount to the body was broken loose, no idea how that can happen. it was fixed awhile ago and has been fine. now today i heard a thumping under the floor it seems like the stud for the rear k frame mount is loose on that side, i was able to get it to tighten up but it didn't want to stay still and seemed like it was just spinning. there didn't seem to be access to the backside to hold it is that part meant to be welded to the body or something?

I dont know if i took a detailed enough picture, but that piece is installed before the pans are put in place on the car. The stud is installed with a z shaped bracket on them, which you will notice sticks out the front of the frame rail. The only way to remove it with any sucess (without cutting it apart) would be to cut a hole in the floor directly above that stud.If you can get it down to where it should be, i would see about having it tack welded in place. Or go about pulling it out. Seeing this on my daytona during my resto, i have no idea how else it could of been installed.
