I am taking my daytona to the track tomorrow and was wondering what are some of the BEST times you guys have did with stock mitsu turbo and automatic trannys?

My car is 89 shelby 2.5. stock fuel. 14psi. srt4 intercooler. built NON-MVB A413, Im hoping for about a 14.8 in my car.

But whats the best times people have achieved?

Open downpipe and tune on all-of-it boost I think. He said he mic'ed out a bunch of stock mitsu parts and picked the "best" ones. For his class I think that is all he is allowed to do.

Hmm. My mitsu is a brand new rebuilt one for turbosunleashed with not even 100 miles on it yet.

I've gone 13.24 @ 101 on a stock Mitsu, stock bottom end, stock top end (both thoroughly blueprinted of course), no IC; only mods are 3-bar MAP and +20 injectors. Run on Turbo Blue only, track time only, no street driving.

The car and trans are both fully prepped for racing. Its all setup for NHRA stock class racing.

In my full weight voyager I managed a 14.5 at 92mph on 17psi on street tires. Probably not relevant. lol

I believe gus mahon got a 13.9 at 96mph on 18.5psi.

I think Terry Ryan also got his van into the high 13s with the Mitsu/auto.
