Well I got my first 89 Shelby Daytona back so I need to get rid of one I bought to make up for my dumb mistake. It is a 2.5 auto car that has been intercooled. The short block has knock. I was planning on fixing it but ended up with my first 89 back. So I am going to sell it with a knock for 2,000 or I’ll fix it and sell it for 3,000.
It is currently second on the project list. The clutch for the project one should be home when I get there. So it won’t be too fair out on getting the freshened up bottom end. I have a good 2.5 crank to go with the car if you want to buy it with the knock. The guy before me rebuilt the trans and did some suspension work. I forget everything he said he did and had a fair amount of money in new parts. I drove the car 20ish miles from the guys house and it seemed to drive nice but I was driving very very easy. The car is from Cali and spent the rest here in SC. So it should be pretty rust free. I haven’t gone over it to close to say for 100%. Here are some pictures.
