Just like the titles says will they fit on my stock 16 inch pumpers correctly or will they rub the trans case real easily? Also the tires are eagle rsa's. What would you guys pick the eagle rsa's or my cooper lifeliner 2's? Both are in very good shape. Thanks

They should fit ok. I'm guessing they will rub the trans case, just like the stockers usually do, but it's only going to do it when you turn hard to the right.

My old neon came with Eagle RS-A's. They sucked hard for traction in all conditions. They also wore out fast, which is good and bad. Bad because I had to buy new tires at 28k miles. Good because I was glad to be rid of those sucky Goodyears.

My brother had 225/50/16's on his 89 Daytona Shelby, but they were mounted on 16X7 aftermarket wheels. They fit fine with no rubbing. IMHO a 225 is too wide for a 6" wide wheel for good handling. You will get alot of sidewall shift.

well the wider tire has gota be better than the 205/55/16 cooper lifeliner 2's that are on the car. theyre rock solid and skinny. the stupid things would break traction just getting into traffic.

Does this hold true for tires with a super hard sidewall?

i would imagine so because the side wall wouldnt roll very much
