Laptop for flashing and datalogging.

Hey guys, recently i gave my laptop i was using for flashing and datalogging my shelby away to a relative....i need to get a good laptop for doing this again...

Does anyone have any suggestions of what is the best laptop to be doing this? I am assuming i need an older one with xp...would be nice to get one with a serial port too....

But does anyone know a proven good working on that has been used and/or maybe has one for sale??

Look up a Tough book CF30 on eBay. Lots of off lease units under 500 bucks. They are dual core and the memory is upgradeable to 4gb. The awesomeness is that they are shock, dust, and water resistant. They also usually come with touch screens and sometimes even GPS and mobile broadband.

They have serial ports and run windows XP great.

A lot of times these off lease units get the hard drive and its caddy yanked and tossed. Also they usually don't include ac adapters because lots of places use them with docks.
