I'm going to be doing the new engine break-in procedure very soon on the Spirit R/T I put back together. It is pretty much stock, including the pistons with new rings. Minor bolt-ons like 3" exhaust, balance shaft delete, new TU yellow plate/4-puck clutch, and a manual boost controller is about it for now.
Where should I set the WOT boost level for the break-in period? I'm using a simple grainger valve.
I don't think a particular boost level is necessary, so long as its running with proper a/f and not knocking. You could just run manifold pressure to it if you're concerned, but I would think 10-11 is more than safe.

Thanks for the quick response Pat. I will very likely be doing this tonight!

I just usually plug the turbo into manifold vacuum, then go do this-
Wot 2nd gear, chop for 5 sec, repeat 15 times or so, then go change the oil and filter, then drive as normal.
