Ok I'm looking at redoing my head. I popped the headgasket .So I am going to have it redecked ported and polished. I'm keeping with stock valves but wonted to put stronger springs in it. I wonted to use something that would hold any cam I deside to run cents I'm not sure on the cam yet. And do I need to change the spring locks and seats? And anything I'm missing that you can think of would help. Thanks

I'am looking at the 8-V Performance Dual Valve Springs (http://turbosunleashed.com/shop/performance-dual-valve-springs-p-401.html) from turbos unleashed. Does any one know what the max left is on them? I take it ,its at lest 499. and what I will need to install them in to a stock 89 2.5l head?

look up here and on TD.com about the Beehive Comp Cam 26995's. I love them in my 8v head.

Thanks. I ran across something on here about them. What locks would work with them with the stock valves? and can I use the stock retainers? thought I read something about gm 3100 retainers working with them? I'll keep reading to see what I can fine . Thank you.
