exhaust size

Anyone know the stock size exhaust on an 87 S/C. I should know this but I can't remember...:banghead:

I think it varried, like 2.25 on the down pipe, to 2in near the cat, to 1 3/4 for the turn around the tank and over the axle.

Yeah I think you are right I kind of remember something about it getting very small and restrictive around the axle. Ill be putting a cheap autozone pieced together side exit on tonight just need to know the size right after the downpipe so I know what size to start with LOL

Well that's all done, and while its not too LOUD(because that would make me too old LOL), it is a bit obnoxious at WOT, so I will have to add a muffler next off days... sounds good though at idle and part throttle! :-)

Stock turbo's are small so not much exhaust flow, :p

I have a side exit on my Daytona, and I really like my Walker Ultra Flo

Its mellow/deep at idle and cruise, and not really that loud at WOT (Nothing like my truck with 3" exhaust)
