You been keeping up a thread elsewhere? Your number still the same? How are those injectors?

My maps are all worthless right now until I get some stuff worked out. 92 octane up there?

I can post my timing map that is super similar to the one I dynoed 315hp with an ebay turbo. I cant say it is perfect though, and it was used with e85.. not 93oct.

Kyle, what is your base timing? How is your MS set up for timing. My setup was running 12 degrees of mechanical advance so my old maps made sense if you realized that. I redid all my maps to be more reasonable on the load points (too many load points in boost). My current maps also still assume 12 degrees advance.

as far as i know my base timing is 12 degrees. what do u mean by setup? like trigger angle and such?

http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/showthread.php?58964-My-3-0-Megasquirt-install-guide!&highlight=rising+edge

There is 87turbodance's explanation specifically for our cars. I wish he would elaborate more on the reasoning behind the base trigger settings he chose and also explain the MS3 instructions because I think he knows what is going on. I hate that MS is so vague about "why."

Here are the MS3 directions for setting up distributors. Ours is like an oldschool and newschool distributor in one since timing is sorta fixed (electronically controlled) but we can adjust the distributor manually.

http://www.msextra.com/doc/ms3/distributor.html
Note that there are 2 ways to set it up. I didn't actually do this, I just set the distributor close with what I know is about right then dialed it in with...

I did this but I realize its not perfect. I tried turning the distributor counterclockwise to get lower bottom timing but it started crossfiring and became erratic so I set it just above that point. These instructions are outdated and vague. They work but they are not optimal.

Way cool. I for one would like to see some pictures of your setup. It's sad to see how little activity there is on this site and the "other" one.

Turbo V8s are cheaper...

Cheaper in what way? Is there a v8 swap for these cars?

Still in for details.
