The 8-valve heads like to burn up the NA exhaust valves on turbo applications. How are the stock 16-V exhaust valves holding up under boost?

No problems I am aware of either, but if you have a neon head, you may wish to upgrade the valvetrain.

The same is true for most modern high VE motors.

Late model Nissans and Hondas accept boost for
the most part (before block and trans frag) just
because the volumetric efficency is so high and
the surface area of all those valves shed heat.
Standerd NA valves work wonders in modern motors
under forced induction like blowers and turbos.

I've only run stock NA heads to 19-25 psi on a daily
bassis so tread lightly on your way to 30 psi :)

my ex. valves lasted about 3 years before needing a valve job.
