I semi parted out my 89 CSX a couple years ago. Originally I had intentions of trying to buy back the parts and still restore it. That ship has sailed, its a running driving car and since removing the shelby goodies it just feels well, weird. Its motor and tranny and suspension are going to go into another car. Because I was planning on restoring it still I had hung onto the dash plaque. When I was parting it I got a TON of messages of people wanting it. Now I am looking to sell it so I can buy megasquirt for my neon. But what's it worth? Would it be best to just sell it on ebay to be the most fair?

Thanks

Yup, if you're looking for more $$$ you can get, sell it at an auction.

Yep, advertise it well on all the relevant boards and post links to the auction.

In the end, it's worth what someone is willing to pay and you're willing to take, hopefully the former is greater than the latter.

Im not looking to rip anyone off. I got 4 or 5 offers for $200 a couple years ago when I didn't want to sell it.

At least $300 and it will most likely sell the first day.

Thats the problem with these cars. I tried really hard to sell it whole. All it was missing was the front and rear GFX and had a little damage on passenger rear quarter panel. Nothing big. Brand new motor, brand new clutch. NO rust. I couldn't get 2k out of it and had to part it out because I was out of work and had bills to pay.
