We had a neon/SRT4 meet in Ellensburg WA this weekend. It was a lot of fun and I meet a lot of cool people. It was so nice to get to talk cars with people that actually knew what I was talking about. We plan on making the spring meet a annual event and plan on doing another one this fall.

Here are a couple of the cars that I really liked :)

This is a 04 Neon (not SRT) with a built SOHC 2.0 motor and a 70 trim turbo running megasquirt. It doesn't spool until 4k or so from what the owner told me but it is still making enough power to max out injectors that are good for 300+hp. So it runs like a stock neon below 4k, and then just rips and tears above that!

This was another cool one. 95 Neon coupe with a SRT4 motor, and ENTIRE wiring harness. So it runs and drives like a stock SRT4 but is much much lighter. Then the owner pulled a bunch of weight out of it and installed a very expensive set of coilovers. So 250+hp and probably 2000-2200lbs. Add to the fact its painted flat black and on steelies I bet it surprises A LOT of people on the street. He actually drove it up from Portland OR, thats not a short drive!

You should have brought one of your cars ;). I invited a bunch of 8V turbo guys, but the only ones that came showed up as we were leaving :(
