View Full Version : 3-Bar cals with Cruise Control?

Anyone have issues with any 3-Bar cals and the cruise control working correctly? I think I found something that might be causing my TIII cal CC to behave wonky, but that bit of code is the same in every cal since 1988. So, I'm curious if there are any other 3-bar cals with CC issues.

Both my '88 van and my Dad's '85 wagon both run 3bar MAP sensors, both running SMEC's, and both have operating cruise control.

I have two 92 R/T ND cals and the cruise works fine in both. To my knowledge; Neil doesn't mess with the CC settings.

Neither do I - that's why I can't figure out why it isn't working right.

I have an ND 3 bar SMEC and Neil increased the cruise top speed to approx. 110 mph.

Thanks

Mine's never worked with a BB cal, but works with a stock computer,

You're using my Turbonator/SMEC code for both, correct?

Yeah, but you're using T/SMEC v15, right? I can't trouble shoot a 4-generations old bit of code...

Why do you keep saying that, lol. Using the newest one, staging limiter, :p

Yes. I'm using v18 and MPTune for my '88 van and v16 and MPTuner for my Dad's wagon.

Both of my 3bar R/T cals have CC that works great.

Made by FWD/ND I assume?

Mine was a FWD stg. 5 as a base which I then modified pretty heavily to be a DD cal but still run the 3 bar and +40s with regular gas and optimal mileage.

Yes, FWDP. I'm sorry I forgot that info.
