I got a 2.4 bracket at the junkyard today, however, the alternator was boogered. I thought... hey that looks awefully loy like my TD alternator.... but the one I had at the shop didn't fit.

Anyone know if hte smaller TD alternators fit, or are you using the 2.4 alt??

I'm using the 2.4 alt
but there are similarities w/ the pwr steering pumps(saginaw) so they very well may work

You used a saginaw pump on your 2.4 for the power steering?

no but the bolt up patterns look very similar(I think it may be possible to use the 2.4 bracket w/ the older pump), and I wrote about it in the 2.4 swap thread. The Saginaw pwr steering pressure line works w/ the 2.4 pump. Kevin Davis had to modify the bracket to get the pressure line off of the dwn pipe.
