Ok so I'm going to my first auto x this weekend in my Omni. I've been to a few to watch. Gonna borrow my friends go pro and slap it on the car. Running some hankook ventus hr II tires. Hopefully it does ok. Anyone know what class I would be in?

No idea but guessing a class with 500hp monsters sitting on slicks. In for vid!

That's probably the truth. Just go out and have some fun. You'll probably be surprised at some of the cars which you're faster than and also by the cars which are faster than you.

Oh defiantly will be having fun.lEvent is Sunday. Should be beautiful according to the weather. Sometimes there is a guy that shows up with a 2000 dodge Dakota v8 and whips a$$. Shocked the crap out of me!

Yea it was awesome. I kinda surprised him Saturday. I told him we were just gonna go watch my friend coy (DBBMini) bmx race the 35-41yr old class. Coy brought that bike along and told him to ride it. His eyes lit up! He's been on it all weekend. Coy's got about 1200 dollars in that bike and it weighs 13lbs. He let me take it home along with the riding pants and helmet. I'm gonna let him get used to it and he may end up racing in the 5 and under novice class. If he likes it enough, I'll end up buying the bike.
Now to find me a 20 inch bmx bike....
