I think I got this fitting during the assembly of my omni. I 1st thought it was a stock fitting but now I am not so sure. It may have come with some used lines I got.
The flared female part of the fitting is 22mm x (1.5mm ?). Not sure what the male portion is, but it is larger than 22mm.
I need to find another one of these for my lt1 into a jaguar. These fittings will work with the air pump's 22 mm threaded fittings to the exhaust manifolds and make my current set up look a whole lot more professional!
Anyone know what this fitting might have come from, (dodge, ford, other?), or where I can get something like it?

Its from the underside of the thermostat housing on an 8v 2.2 head. It threads into the head and the heater hose pipe threads into it.

What Pat said. It is a stock piece.

Male fitting part is 3/4" NPT. Not metric.

Thanks a lot! In the back of my head I thought that's where it was from. Now I just need to get on from the JY

2.2/2.5 turbo cars only. Carb and TBI cars did not use this fitting. They use hose nipple. Turbo cars starting to get sort of scarce in some JY's. Might consider putting WTB ad to save you a trip.

I may do a WTB because I am some what busy.
I will probably look in the JY, 1st.
Here in AZ there are still a fair amount of turbo cars around. They mostly die out here from poor maintenance, overheating, and blown head gaskets. They then end up in a backyard. Rust isn't a huge problem, even though my omni is an AZ car and has some.
Thanks for the help with my memory everyone! Sometimes I feel like the old hard drive between the ears is getting full (or maybe corrupted)

You sure that is 3/4"? I need a plug to replace that fitting.
Do you know what size the tubing side is?
Thanks!

Sorry Wayne just saw this. Yes it is 3/4 NPT. The other side is 22mm X1.5 as mentioned in post #1. This ultimately goes to 5/8" male hose feeding into heater core hose. FYI-The NA fitting is 3/4" NPT to a 3/4" male hose nipple.

Thanks brother!
I have plans to use Asa's (acannell) kit to eliminate the heater hose at thr tstat housing. However I need a backup plan if there is any interference with the turbo plumbing.
