More boost

I am looking to do a few mods to my 87 lebaron 2.5L TII
I want 40+ injectors, switch 2 bar to 3 bar map. Stage 3 cal to a stage 4 or 5. Do I need NEED a fuel pressure regulator? Anything else for me to see boost over 15psi?

I would get the adjustable FPR. Also a wideband A/F gauge, and a good exhaust system. Just make sure the maintenance items are taken care of; recent fuel filter change etc.
