I picked up this sbec 2 a while back. i know it works, i actually ran my 16V turbo motor in my 92 daytona on it just to verify it was functional. a rare and valuable core as it will run 4 injectors on a n/a motor unlike the standard 1 injecter tbi n/a sbec2. have as a core and have it recaled for whatever or as a spare for FFV car. pretty sure you can have this recaled for any turbo application in 92-93 cars. i checked part number against reliable sources confirm its FFV. chrysler part# 4686405 asking 150$ shipped or best offer

So is that true? I can plug this into my GF's 2.5 Shadow and change to MPI instead of TBI? Plug and Play, with the appropriate wiring for injectors, AIS and TPS of course?

And appropriate intake manifold, fuel rail, injectors...

Weren't the FFV basically a n/a (later) TI? That's what the ones I've seen looked like, but I don't know if there was any fancy electronics that divined the fuel mix, like some of the flex fuel GM stuff has/had.

Yes, there was a flex fuel sensor to tell how much Methanol was in the mix...

the FFV motors look like a turbo motor 2 motor with 1 piece blow through intake and n/a exhaust manifold. and id imagine if nothing else the MPI 2.5 even would have to have a few more ponies than the TBI

They were rated 10hp higher, but i think they can do better. My modded TBI calculated out to 115hp with horribly wrong fueling. I would guess an mpi 2.5 would be in the 120s with proper AFRs and normal mods like intake and exhaust.

Shelgame, are there any possibilities for incorporating an ethanol-content sensor into other SBECs? Im not saying there's a market, but it's one of the most brag-worthy features ive heard about on MS.
