Just thought I would mention that I had recently made an order with Columbia River Mandrel Bends (www.mandrel-bends.com) and was very pleased! I bought a couple 2.25" 45' aluminum bends for my Shelby CSX so that I could replace the OEM rubber lower intercooler hose. The order arrived quickly and I was very pleased with the product. The aluminum pipes have a thicker wall than what I had previously ordered from www.atpturbo.com. ATP has been a favorite vendor of mine over the years, but I must say the pipe I got from Columbia River was even better! Now I don't have to worry so much about over-tightening the T-bolt clamps because the aluminum mandrel bends I got from CR have a thicker wall. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

I've had good luck with them too. My problem is that they are 3000 miles away.

Most of the pre-bent aluminum bends that are sourceable in the US are 0.059" (1.5mm metric) wall because they are bent in china or korea. There are only a handful of mandrel bending companies that are specialised enough to bend aluminum in the United States. The materials we use are US made (SAPA) 6061-T6, annealed to a T0 for bending then age hardended back to approximately a T3. It's expensive stuff.
