Thinking I have a leak here in one of my AA bodies. Not sure what this seal does. I do have an AA body that collects water in the trunk. The seal appears messed up and has a large break in it. I didn't really think this area mattered but I guess it does?
Not sure if they have new seals or how to get that metal plate off, or if there is a workaround to keep water from getting into the trunk. I would not be scared to just rip the thing out and run a bead of sealant down the crevice if I had to.
