Okay so I have my SC running. Converted to smec with a Paul V custom cal. I'm running into some problems which I "think" is something to do with the map. But here is my problem, when the re-cal was done I lost the ability to check codes, so I'm kinda shooting in the dark to trouble shoot my problem. Sure would be nice to check those codes. I've tried calling/emailing Paul with no response. Is there anyone that would be willing to change the code on my cal to re-enable the CEL feature. Currently I am getting codes, but they seem to be more random flashes than anything. I'm getting codes 12, what looks like it might be a 44, 410, 69 (that one is kinda cool), and 10. Please help me!

A scantool would tell you what your codes are..

If Rob cannot do it, I can. PM me.

I'm trying to dig one up now. Not sure if I have the extra cash this month to buy one, so I'm trying to find someone local who has one and the knowledge to use it.

Depending on how custom the cal is, the scan tool might not work. Worth a try though. Do the flashes appear to happen really fast?

Yeah they're pretty quick, so quick it would just faintly flash the stock bulb. I put an LED in there so I could see the flashes without having to sit in the dark.

I wish I was a cal wizard.. I'd use the lockup torque converter output.. When the computer sees even 1 degree of knock retard, rather than flash the check engine light, latch the LU TC output on.. Why? Because I'd wire that to a relay that runs my alcohol/water injection. Leave the LU TC output latched till you come back out of boost. Genius, eh? hehehe.. Probably a butt simple mod too..
