Description:

Had a few extra plenum flanges from the last batch I did, so I thought I would try making two upper plenums for guys that dont have the resources to make one them self. These are made to use a 58mm TB, and are right around 3.2 liters. These will also work with a stock fuel rail. I can dill and tap vacuum ports where ever the buyer wants them. Here are some pictures. I will post some pics tomorrow after they are all welded up by the man Brian Slowe!

Thanks Adam

Both have been SOLD! If anyone is interested in one of these I could make another 3 but would need a $100 deposit from 3 people to get started on them.

Thanks Adam

Hey Adam,
Very Nice! Wow what a great price!
When a buddy of mine was making up Masi large plenum intakes he found in flowbenching that cylinders 3 & 4 were not flowing what 1 & 2 were until he lowered TB to floor of plenum. Actually he built a ramp in intake, sort of a false floor. Then airflow returned to cylinders 3 & 4 by flowing to them and not over them. Because of packaging, TB was so close to those cylinders that could have contributed or cause issue. Because you have a radius on the back side of TB perhaps you won't have this issue. So with that nugget in my noggin, when I made my large plenum intake, I put elbow on bottom edge of plenum.
Maybe you can talk Brian into flowbenching intake if he gets a chance and see what his results are. I know it's a lot of work, but it might be worthwhile.
Todd

Thanks for the input Todd! I could look it to doing something similar to what you stated, I just think it would drive the price up to where people wouldnt want them. I think this is a simple, effective, affordable piece for someone with out the means to build there own.

Wow. Really nice!

Thanks Mike

What kind of price increase would we be looking at if the plenuim had a 90 after throttle body plate?

I ported a lower half and the owner sent one of these so I could port match the lower half with it. I having seen it in person I have to say this is a super high quality piece, dead sexy, and worth every penny.

I'm down. Haven't been anything but 110% satisfied with anything you've made thus far Adam, and I have a couple two-piece intakes I've been wondering what to do with anyway.

Thanks Jeremy! I will let you know if this happens.

Yeah I definitely under priced the first few for how much machining, material cost, and welding cost, I have into them and im not even including the 6 hours of driving time to deviler and pick them up from the welder (brians shop in philly) I wish I could do them cheaper but this is as low as I can go. A few people have showed some interest over the past months and for the reasons listed above I will not make just one anymore so to maintain the same price I would need to do a group buy of ten.

Thanks Adam

Gotcha. Having seen one in person (port matched a lower half to one) I would love to have one but I just don't have the funds right now. They are a work of art, just like those wiseco pistons I got a long time ago they looked to beautiful to put in the engine lol.
