Description: Used Chrysler/Dodge Getrag Transaxle [std.small input spline]

Mfg Date 2-25-1989

Driven before being pulled - shifted fine with no grinding - Doesn’t appear to have been opened up.

This transaxle is a heavy duty version of the A520. It features a permanent-mold, high-strength, heat treated aluminum case and a stronger, coarse-pitch gear set made by Getrag of Germany.

These differentials come with upgraded main shaft bearings for increased torque handling and more aggressive vehicle launches.

The A555 was designed for use with the 2.2L Turbo II engine. It also features closer gear ratios and a final drive ratio of 3.85:1 for maximum performance. Overall top gear ratio was 2.77:1

Yes, "Low Mileage" A 555 with 14 day money back. The largest Wrecking Yard in my backyard tells me "none available" in a six state search. If one was located it would be sold as a core for $600 - no guarantee and shipping it in would be additional.

As for "cheap skates" around here lol - Gnaw, just never enough money left after paying the increasingly high costs for gettin by ...
