I just purchased a 1987 Chrysler New Yorker Turbo from my dad, however the heat does not work. From my dad's searches the Digital Heater Control stopped working.
Anyone have one? Or any idea on how to fix it? It's pretty cold out here and I'd like to drive it occasionally.

Thanks!

I should also mention, everything is digital on this car.

If you set it to the highest temperature does the heat work? If not, it's probably the blend door actuator... and then you're in trouble.

I like the idea of converting it to full manual. digital is cool and all but only if it works.

The temp control unit does not even power on.

Could it be a fuse or something then?

Fuses have all been checked, nothing is blown. The unit will not turn on, the fan has been rigged to run, but the blender (??) door won't open so there's no heat. It was my dads old vehicle that my brother was driving, they tried "rigging" it and it didn't work.
