So my neighbor sold his SC Harley truck and wanted something to replace it. He test drove a new Mustang 5.0 GT/CS but the price was over $30K and ended up buying a slightly used 2012 Challenger R/T "classic edition." It has the 376 HP 5.7L and a 6 spd manual trans with 3.92 gears out back. It's black on black with the rally stripes (also in black) and 20" chrome wheels.
Anyway it came with SLP exhaust already and then he went and immediately put a K&N cold air kit on it. He would jab me once in a while how the Hemi-powered Challenger is going to stomp the Lancer and make up for the earlier upset with the Harley truck. Here's how it went down......

That last race was from a stop just so there would be no excuses about that. I don't know what happened there, but the outcome would've been the same as the others. Thanks for watching!

Surprised actually you don't lose more ground on the launch. Does he have crappy rubber? And what's yours shod with?

I can tell you that running 20"s on a challenger will cause traction issues.......

Yah, I was wondering if there wasn't enough sidewall to lay the tread down.

I did a used car inspection on a pontiac solstice non turbo and it had the same size tires as a damn 470hp 470 ftlb 4200lb car.

Anything you can mount on an NSRT rim also counts, i believe. :p

Nice runs! Bet he was surprised! The only damn mopar with proper sized tires is the viper. 295's up front and 355's out back. Actually, the ram r/t has pretty meaty 285/45/22's.
