Okay, so I think the dash faces for the P bodies are all the same, but I noticed that some years have the odometer reset to the left of the speedo and others have it at the bottom of the guage. Which years have what...ALSO

I want to purchase one of each from our forum, or get freebies....not working is fine. Any of you guys might be interested in this? Looks like the highest mph number on the face would only be 135....kph versions might come later too if I can get some of those.

Thanks,

Angelo (Matchbox) Taylor

the early gauges 87-89 are metal faces and not backlit, with reset knob to the left of the speedometer
later ones 90-94 are backlit, with the button bellow the speedometer

Thanks for the info....so, when you say back lit, that means the lighting for the mph markings come from the back of the gauge through the face...like my 95 Neon? If that is the case I might only be able to have them made for the 87-89 models. Thanks again.

GREAT, you do that and I will send you two sets of the overlays as payment. What colors would you guys like to see? So far I have the following colors for the L-bodied cars:
KPM in Silver or Black, MPH in Silver, White, Black, and Blue....see this link:

I'd love to see silver background with the black numbers on a pbody cluster.. it would match my autometer gauges :)

All I need to get started is a set of guages, not working is fine...87-89. The one person that submits a set to me will get two gauge overlays for their trouble. This thread will be the only medium on this...no pms. The first person that says they will send it will be the person that the overlays will be sent to....they also need to be honest and actually send the gauges to me.

I will provide my mailing address at that time. No back lit gauges please....

Okay Turbo Joe....my mailing address is:
Angelo Taylor Racing
12555 Lantern Rd
Fishers, IN 46038

No one else will get two free gauge overlays for the P Body unless I request another cluster if Turbo Joe deal falls through. Het T J...they do have the tach in them, correct? I can send the cluster back to you if you want, but then you would get a single set of overlays instead of two sets. Your free set will be done in Silver with black numbers.
Thanks!

I have a lot of stuff going on, but should be able to get the gauges over to the printer on Friday and see what he says. I KNOW that as I get them done there should be a bunch of takers! I'm sorry that I have not contected you about this.

So I took the gauge package apart and took the individual gauges to the printer. I explained what I wanted, extended mph to 145 mph and the tach to 8000 rpm. As soon as possible I will post up a photo of what they look like and start taking orders. The first few are in now and consist of:
4 in black, 6 in white, and 6 in silver

If any of you want another color, LMK here so I can coordinate with him.

All it takes is a gauge cluster to start on them. Turbo Joe sent me one for a P body, so that will be next up. Someone else mentioned that they would send me a Lancer cluster. Anyone else out there? I can't get overlays made for the gauges where the light shines through the numbers, just the ones where the light shows on their face. One off colors can be done also...one guy is having a couple in black with blue numbers and a couple more in blue with black numbers. The price is a bit more, but still affordable for cheap skates (frugal people) like me. Too bad old Matchbox has not had a dash in it since 1990!

the suspense is killing me :p any updates or sneak peaks? I have sent Jose his gauges back earlier today and his free set of the overlays. I have in stock 4 black, 6 silver, and 6 in white. Look for a new thread with a photo of what they look like and prices too. Now I just need a speedometer in KPH to keep our N of the border people happy too.
