Team Shelby Vegas 2013

Any one else able to make the upcoming 'bash' in 2013? I missed a couple years while I was dealing with the big ugly D:( but the good news is now I don't need "Permission" to go any events anymore:D So I'm registered and have booked my room at South Point Casino for the event March 21st thru 24th (Thursday thru Sunday) 2013. I'm gonna have the black 86 GLHS #110 ready for the big dogs at Spring Mountain Raceway. I've never driven that track before but hear its got the speed sections like Big Willow, elevation changes, off camber stuff-everything all in one package:thumb: Gotta be better than that little flat 1.3 mile uh, *roadcourse* behind the Shelby facility:amen: The Team Shelby members with the Blue Oval badged cars are really very accepting of the Shelby Dodges:grouphug:, just ask any of the folks who have been to previous TS events:nod:

So who else is gonna try to make it?

Ooooooo I'll have to look into going. Since we're talkin' turbo-mopars and Alan, somebody's gonna break something. I should think about traveling with my tools and be the support vehicle.

The GLH and Focus ST really are birds of a feather from different eras. I suppose Shelby is messing with the ST, ill be interested to read more.

So Alan.....how did you do against the mustangs in the Omni? Did it surprise a few of them?

Been kinda pressed for time since drivning home 275+ miles Sunday with no clutch:mad:, but I'll do a decent summary and post some pics here when I don't have 10 other things to do:o But yeah, there was a ton of visitors to the car after 'spirited street driving' to the lunch stop on the way to Vegas and the one 20 minute track session the clutch survived. Most people either had a "I remember these cars, I had/my buddy had one" or "WTF is this thing??":D
