Okay car is an 86 dodge 600. Motor is the factory 86 turbo I log motor with a garrett (always seem to forget this info lol)

So here's the thing. I am having a head done by Steve M and he drilled out the cooling passages under the exhaust ports. I don't know if my block is drilled.

What was the first year they started to drill the block/head?

I ordered a MP head gasket for an 86 turbo car. I don't want to drill the block, will there be a problem running the 86 MP gasket on a stock 86 block with a drilled head??

Thanks guys
Moe

I have run miss matched heads, blocks and gaskets and had no overheating problems.

87-89 t2's, '90 t4's, '91-93 t3's and the 89+ t1's. I believe some '89+ tbi blocks were also.

If you get the 005 gasket, it connects the CD's for you so no need to drill the block or head per say. Barring that, I would drill the block, its easy to do and worth it. Are you going to upgrade to 11mm head bolts if you haven't already?

I thought my car used 11mm bolts from the factory?

Yes you should already have the 11mm head bolts. It was a running change during the 1985 model year where they switched from 10 to 11 mm.
