Does anyone have a wiring diagram that shows the difference between stock non rpm gauge and stock rpm gauge clusters for a 93 shadow/sundance

Im just guessing here, but I have a feeling swapping to a tach cluster would be plug and play.

I just did this in my 90 mini and it was plug and go. Two circular groups of pins and the speedo. So only three plugs.

Some cars may have the signal wire from the computer, others like mine didnt. I'll look later on in the fsm and provide the details on where it needs to go if nobody else does, its 3am here and I have been out underneath a car in the cold for the past 12 hours.

i ask because i tried before to just plug and play but absolutely none of the gauges worked. yes the physical plugs are the same but the pin outs are different. im tryin to put an rpm cluster from a 91 shadow into a 93 sundance. im sure ill have to run a signal wire for the rpm gauge but i need to find out which wires go where in the plugs

if you have the plug diagrams from both clusters you could repin the connectors. I'm pretty sure the P body cars used the same connectors from 90 to at least 93. I'm pretty sure I've dropped in a cluster into my 90 from a 92 or 93 and it worked with no problems.

It's not plug and play on '93 Shadows. Buddy of mine had a '93 Sundance without a tach. He tried to plug and play the tach cluster and the tach would not work. Had to run one wire to the cluster as I recall maybe more. I know you can plug and play on '91's. Never tried '92's.

yea like i said ive tried this swap before and the plugs are the same they just need to be re pinned. i need a diagram so i know where to re pin stuff. i figured with a few people that ive seen do the digital dash in p bodies some one would have some diagrams.. i found this but i haven't verified if this is correct. this would be the one with the tach.

Dang I didn't even know to check for this, I may have some pins crossed.. In for the non-tach pin out.

I've noticed the oil dummy light glows a dull red when it warms up. This is on the non-tach car. Gets brighter when I go up a hill..

I bet the temp meter on the tach car doesn't work at all.
