Hello everyone!

At the MOPAR Nats this weekend, Greg Thewes, my brother, and I discussed final plans to hold a joint meet of our two chapters at Brady's Run on September 23rd for a mini-SDAC of sorts! Proposed time to meet is 11 AM since we'll be cooking out and all. Bring your rides for a car show and perhaps even some parts you may be interested in selling!

If you can, please provide us with some feedback on this, as we would like to settle everything ASAP! :thumb:

I booked Pavilion 14 at Brady's Run Park for September 23 (which is the first day of Autumn btw).

I will put the check in the mail tomorrow to book it for good.

Here is the link to check out directions, etc. Pavilion 14 is way in the back of the park, by the stream and under the Route 60 overpass. It's an awesome setting and completely out of the way.

I'd love to be there for this. I'm not scheduled to work that weekend, so hopefully the weather will hold out and be fairly warm to put the top down.

Talked to Greg, Billy and Pat over the weekend, some items for the day have been set. What we would like is for everyone who plans to attend this event for the Buckeye Chapter and the Steel City Chapter to either contact Billy, Pat or Myself. As we are trying to get a head count so we can provide enough food and beverages for everyone. If you have any questions please let us know.

Brady's Run is in Beaver Falls, PA. I just did a quick mapquest for you and it looks about 7 hours for you. It is a straight shot out Route 80.

Yes, as Jay mentioned, we finalized some plans for the meetup. Food and beverages are organized, and now we need your help to develop a head count so we know how many people we can expect!

I called Troy tonite to see if himself or any of the other SV-TD'ers would be interested in attending this meet with us as well and he is going to get back to me after their meeting next weekend.

Either way you look at it, this event is going to be awesome and, in my opinion, is going to be one that we can do year after year and be highly recognized as a very good time!

So, if you haven't already please get back to us ASAP with your RSVP's of sorts. I have placed some calls and left voicemails to some of you Steel City members, and Troy is the man to report to for you SV guys!

Well everything is set. Me, Billy, and Luke are meeting up at 8:30ish to drive to Rick and Darcy's place. Then we will be leaving from there around 9. We are meeting up with Greg (has an '88 Shelby Z) at the Irwin exit and then Mike ('86 silver/blue SC) and Kevin (black '85 Turbo Z) at the Monroeville exit. So we are hoping to be arriving at Brady's Run around 10:30 or so. See everyone there!

Greg, (briceturbosports-Hoagie) mentioned on our site that he and his wife had thought of making it a weekend get-away, but I have no idea if he was able to make plans or not???

Nate is at school in Philly and is sorta hard to reach. I would be supprised if he could make it with his schedule, but I could be wrong(?)

well the get together went very well. the food was great, the rain held out so the weather was good. and of course the cars where the best part. hope all those who where in attendance had a good time. and I will bring the Charger next time.:D

Thanks for putting something like this on I had a great time,I just wish for one the rampage had been there and two I wasnt sick.Some time this week Im gona put it up on jack stands and pull all the wheels,and check every thing in the brake system out good and if it looks questionable Its geting replaced.There is a shop around here that will make any brake line you want in any length in rubber or braided so I guess Im gona have braided on it now.

A big thanks to everyone who made this day possible. It was fun. The food and friendship was awesome. Aside from a little confusion with the Pavilion number (I'll get that worked out next year), it went off without a hitch. Once Frank has the gallery working again, I will post all my pics.....here are a few teasers!
