Just one of the beautiful cars in my collection, my 1981 Plymouth Reliant 2.2, purchased in IL for 600.00, since then I have installed a new muffler, new fuel line, new struts all around, new tires, recently this summer I have added a Factory CB Radio. And that is pretty much it, has 87,000 original miles, it had 83,000 on it when I purchased it in 2010..

I was going to enter it at the Iola old car show in Iola wisconsin..but I changed my mind...

someone beat me to the tent area.. This guy lives 100 miles north of me..

Looks like it got the "good" (non-water based) paint, damn near museum quality there!

its got some spots that need some repair, but my cousin is a body guy so he can fix that stuff for me. its got one small dent in the rocker panel that will be fixed and some spray painted areas that are just IDK....hes doing it all for 100.00.

Nice! ... and ...

I have added a Factory CB Radio.

I haven't heard of/seen one of these... not doubting you, just thinking a factory CB would be cool and I want to know more.

They are very rare from what I know. When I saw it in the catalog I was like MUST HAVE!!! it was very simple to put in since 81 cars had the old style wiring.. I got mine for 29.00 but the ones I have seen on ebay are going for like 200.00 a crack. they stopped making these in 1983. If you are going to install one..you must have the factory antenna which cost me around 100.00...

That car in that shape has to be near impossible to find, kudos for keeping it going.

Thanks guys for the CB info and the eBay link. Don't think I'll go chasing that one with money right now, but now I know what to keep my eye out for.
