Need a Water Pump Housing Gasket for 89 CB 2.2 TII. Local parts stores no help. Any suggestions?

Its an O-ring. Just buy a new waterpump, they are cheap. I've also cleaned up the area's with brake cleaner and used RTV, let it tack up and install. I do this if I want to reuse the seal or the housing is pitted.

We're talking about the seal that is between the water pump housing and the motor, right? I have located an O-ring in one of those O-ring combo packs from Autozone. Fits OK, neoprene, good to go? OBTW: I am using the housing you sent me. Needs no clean up at all. Thanks!

Oh, that one, I just us a generic o-ring from the parts store or order them from Dodge. Neoprene should be just fine. I found another source for the o-ring from something else but I just can't remember, :banghead:
