Wow! Looks great!

Do you have any concern that it will interfere with the chute?

The bars will have a net on top to keep the chute from going under/through.

Wow that is a llllloooonnnnggggg bar. Looks good though. Any concern with structural integrity of the bar being so long. As in bending or folding up on a launch?

I think I've seen lighter looking boat trailers :D Yah, does seem a bit on the extreme side.

No concern of folding here, it is quite rigid.

RW22- 23lbs. must look heavier?

Yah, guess I was thinking of how heavy scaffolding poles are :D 23lb is pretty light.

CroMo?? looks killer, my concern tho would be going down the track, are the 100 LB springs going to be enough to bring the rear back up after you plant the bars??? or will you be on the bars all the way down... in which at that point i would say a wing will help keep the bars planted all the way down... and it will help with that lift off when the chutes deployed...

I havn't thought too much about wheelie bars but in theory as the slicks grow (diameter) on launch that plants the bar and as the tires calm down it settles out... guessing here?

The pre-loaded and hydraulic bars are not allowed because if your slicks grow too much you lift the rear tires off the ground! I remember like a dozen or so years ago Len Ayala / Hahn Racecraft neon just put a bar on (fixed position, no actuation) and they blew up the castor wheels cuz they were not designed to go 140mph!

That looks great Brian. I'm excited to see what that'll do for you.

Are they rigid mount, or on a spring? Any idea how much you plan to clearance to the ground?

All chrome-moly tubing, yes. The car will ride the bars the complete length of the track during acceleration. The springs are not heavy enough to lift the car under accel.
